Ouro Wines is a supplier of artisan-made wines to the state of Delaware, owned and operated by Sam Anderson. Sam draws on his 12+ years as a Beverage Director and Sommelier in Michelin-starred and James Beard Award-winning restaurants in New York City. His mission is to contribute to his adopted home state of Delaware by bringing wines of purity and place to the dining and culinary community.

Every wine in our portfolio expresses a place and a way of life, all made with deep respect for the natural world. Ouro’s selections come from small winemakers who work in harmony with nature and seek to regenerate the natural health of their land through farming. All the wines are made from fruit that is famed organically at minimum—many according to biodynamic practices, as well. All are fermented with only naturally occurring yeasts and made without manipulative cellar tricks or chemical cosmetics.  These wines are clean, elegant and promise to be the first bottles finished at the table and the wines remembered as magical.
